‘Walking Dead’ town put up for sale on eBay

Nine buildings in downtown Grantville, Georgia, a filming location on the popular zombie-themed TV series The Walking Dead, have gone up for sale on eBay. The town was once a prosperous textiles town, but when the mills started to close in the 1970s, many residents left. Now the town’s main industry is Walking Dead tourism. As former Mayor Jim Sells says ‘We have people coming from all over the world because of The Walking Dead. That’s paying the bills downtown.’ The buildings are for sale for $680,000 and comprise 25,000 sq ft of renovated commercial and residential space. Read more: usatoday.com
