Costa Rica’s Turrialba volcano has erupted again, closing the international airport at San José and grounding a number of passenger planes. The Juan Santamaría International Airport closed on Thursday after volcanic ash spewed from the volcano and is expected to remain closed until at least Friday evening (March 13). Iberia and Air Canada flights are among those affected. Turrialba has been rumbling on a regular basis since 2010 and last November the volcano had its largest eruption for more than 100 years.
