Video-fail! Dad films entire Vegas trip in selfie-mode

An Irish dad on a trip of a lifetime to Las Vegas made a classic dad move and mistakenly filmed the entire dream trip in selfie-mode. Unfortunately for him, what happened  in Vegas did not stay in Vegas.

Evan Griffin, the man’s son, posted the video to Youtube with the accompanying line: “So… Gave my Dad my GoPro while he was in Las Vegas, I did not, however, instruct him on how to use it, so my dad being my dad, and a culchie, didn’t know which way to point the ******* thing.”

The video shows Joseph Griffin taking in the sites that Las Vegas has to offer, giving a running commentary to all that he sees. But sadly all the viewer sees is Evan’s dad. He ponders out loud from his hotel room where the Grand Canyon might be in relation to him, and then goes on to remark on the Trump Towers opposite him, saying “they’re the same colour as his hair.” Joseph Griffin is not aided then by the Benny Hill music that his son later puts on the footage, which is interrupted just a few times to give space to some of Joseph Griffin’s better observations, like, “There’s a flamingo people!”

Since his son Evan put the video up on Youtube on Friday the video has gone viral and has now close to two million views.
