Three new commemorative coins have been unveiled to celebrate the National Park Service’s 100-year anniversary.

The proceeds from the sale of the coins will help fund the National Park Service (NPS). There is a gold $5 coin that features Theodore Roosevelt and John Muir in front of Yosemite’s iconic Half Dome. The $1 silver coin shows a Latina Folklórico dancer along with the NPS logo, symbolizing the multicultural experiences found in the parks. The clad half dollar coin features a hiker and child discovering the diversity and wonder of the NPS. Read more at: usmint.gov
