Plans to build a Universal Studios theme park in South Korea are set to go ahead after being shelved for three years due to the global economic downturn.Universal Parks and Resorts opened the project to consortium bidders and has chosen a site 60km south of Seoul for the park’s site.

The company has said that the new park will include a traditional Universal Studios theme park, as well as a concert stage, hotels, a golf course, a shopping centre and a water park. Universal hopes to have the park open by 2020. Read more: koreaherald.com
