Thanks to a generous snowfall and considerable snowmaking, two Utah ski resorts will open early this year.

Brighton Resort in the Wasatch Mountains southeast of Salt Lake City will be the first to open on Wednesday, 18 November. Snowbird will follow on 20 November, with the state’s 14 other resorts opening in the coming days and weeks. Several resorts are currently reporting snowfall over ten inches, and forecasters are predicting a good chance for snow in the days leading up to Thanksgiving weekend. Read more: good4utah.com
