Around 160 tourists escaped harm after a luxury tourist train they were abroad in western Thailand caught fire on Sunday. The blaze broke out in the Eastern and Oriental Express shortly after the train left Kanchanaburi, a town famed for its world war two-era bridge. The driver disconnected the burning locomotive after spotting the flames, and the train resumed its journey to Malaysia after firefighters put out the blaze. Read more: theguardian.com
