Tourists camping in eerie abandoned theme park in China

A creepy abandoned theme park in Wuhan, China has recently become a magnet for tourists. Construction on ‘Universal Park’ was abandoned in 1999, leaving numerous copycat monuments, such as the Egyptian pyramids, to waste and overgrowth. Travellers have begun exploring the abandoned site, using it as a campground and, unusually, a spot for wedding photos. Read more: shanghaiist.com
