Three missing, one dead in Nicaraguan helicopter mystery crash

A helicopter travelling from San Carlos to Managua, Nicaragua, crashed shortly after dawn on Tuesday in the San Juan River; the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Of the four passengers aboard, three are currently missing and one has been confirmed dead by the authorities. Identities of the victims have not yet been released as the search continues for the missing individuals. Though no official confirmations have been made, it is said that two of the passengers, including the deceased, are US citizens, and the other two are Nicaraguan citizens.
