This year’s Sziget festival to highlight Roma music

Budapest’s famous Sziget festival, voted Europe’s Best Major Festival for 2014 at the European Festival Awards, will be held from tenth to 17th of August on the Óbuda island in Budapest. This year the festival will highlight Roma music and culture in a programme named VIP:Gipsy. The programme will feature performers from around the world including India, Egypt, Serbia and Hungary.
