This Friday, thousands of fans of the zombie comic and TV show The Walking Dead will set sail to the Bahamas as part of a theme cruise.
The cruise takes off on 15 January from Miami, Florida and will cruise to Nassau, Bahamas, returning on 18 January.
Guests on the cruise will be able to see actors from the TV show in photo ops, question and answer panels, as well as taking part in theme nights, costume contests and more.
On the cruise will be actors Danai Gurira, who plays the katana-wielding Michonne, and Norman Reedus, whose weapon of choice is a crossbow. Clearly, the idea has been popular with many dedicated fans, as tickets have been sold out for some time.
The comic book has been running since 2003 and the TV show is in its sixth-season.
Many cruises have been launched to appeal to the dedicated fans of TV and movies. A Disney cruise created a Star Wars-themed Jedi Training Academy aboard its ship, and a Star Trek-themed cruise allowed fans to indulge their inner Trekkie.
Another cruise out of Florida was specifically designed for cat lovers – but not for their water-fearing friends – featuring feline-themed games and more but with no actual cats on board.
