Las Vegas is of course known for its slots and shots, but Vegas has also become a beacon for people who want to eat well, see fantastic sights and soak up a bit of culture along with the sun’s desert rays. And this week, one of the longest running shows on the famous Strip is celebrating a decade-long residency.
The Beatles Love by Cirque Du Soleil first opened at the Mirage in 2006, and this week marks the show’s tenth anniversary. Featuring Beatles music arranged by their famous late producer Sir George Martin and his son Giles, it was a smash hit right away and has continued to be incredibly popular ever since thanks to its groovy, psychedelic production design, well known tunes and of course, stunning performances by the acrobats and actors involved. To highlight the occasion, a new video was released for the stunning Love version of George Harrison’s classic song, While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Enjoy!
