Songkran revellers on Silom Road in Bangkok will have another day to drench themselves silly after city hall extended the New Year’s celebration until midnight on Wednesday due to popular demand. While it’s possible to get splashed with water virtually anywhere in Thailand between April 13-15, Silom Road, Khao San Road, Chokechai 4 and Utthayan Road are the epicentres of the mayhem. Silom Road will now remain closed from Sala Daeng to the Narathiwat Ratchanakharin intersection until the festivities wrap on Wednesday night. Read more bangkokpost.com
