Taiwan has lifted its deportation order on travellers who have tested positive for HIV/AIDS. Previously, foreign residents and long-term visitors to Taiwan were required to undergo testing for HIV and AIDS. Those with positive tests were deported or denied entry. The legislature passed an amendment on Tuesday to lift the restriction order. Currently, 28 countries have deportation orders for HIV/AIDS-positive travellers. Read more: wantchinatimes.com
