Study ranks most affordable US vacation spots, Las Vegas is no. 1

A study from GOBankingRates examined the top 50 vacation spots in the US and ranked the top ten most frugal destinations. Las Vegas took the number one spot due to its variety of deals, from cheap buffets, hotel packages and low-cost round trip flights. Also on the list were Orlando, FL, for its inexpensive airfare and transportation costs; Albuquerque, NM, for cheap hotels in close proximity to museums and cultural attractions; and Memphis, TN, for low-cost eating and drinking options.
