A staple of classic Western films is a lone tumbleweed rolling down an empty street – but a video posted to Facebook captures what it looks like when thousands of the weeds tumble through at once.
Tom Forwood Jr. posted a video of thousands of tumbleweeds being blown across a frozen lake in the western state of Montana to Facebook on Wednesday, with a caption: “Insane. The temp dropped 19 F in as many minutes and there had to be thousands of Tumbleweeds.”
Montana had been hit with 52 mph winds and a temperature drop from 51 F to 37 F in eight minutes, reports WXShift, and the video is a testament to the strength of the wind.
