Cabin crew working for Lufthansa, Germany’s biggest airline, have resumed their week-long industrial action over pay and retirement provisions, forcing the carrier to cancel 929 of its 3000 flights scheduled to and from Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Munich airports on Monday.
Around 113,000 passengers will be affected by Monday’s action, with more flights likely to be affected throughout the week with cabin crew union UFO planning strikes at different airports across German. Read more: thelocal.de
