Star Wars fan watches new movie nine times in a row

Star Wars superfan Jim Braden has won a movie-watching marathon in Austin, Texas, promoting the newest film “The Force Awakens.”

He viewed all previous installments of the franchise and then the newest episode nine times, spending almost two entire days in the theater. Braden stayed awake by smelling lemon wedges, chewing gum, doing breathing exercises, and drinking a cup of coffee every six hours, and his efforts won him a free seven-year pass to any theater in the Alamo Drafthouse chain as well as a collection of Star Wars merchandise.
