Travelling around Europe is one of the best ways to spend a summer – but taking a three-month, all-expenses-paid trip around the continent is even better.
Busabout, a flexible bus tour company, is seeking four travellers to spend their summer on a trip around Europe, documenting the adventure online. The company is looking to create the “Ultimate Travel Squad”, who will be picked based on their skills on different social media platforms. The squad needs one Instagrammer, one blogger, one vlogger, and a Snapchat or Instagram Stories creator to share their travels for the summer.
If you love social media, you can apply for one of the roles, or if you already have the perfect travel group, you can apply together. The group will then travel for about three months – between early June and early September – around Europe on the company’s “Hop-on Hop-off door-to-door bus network”. The bus pass, accommodation, spending money and a bonus fee will all be covered by Busabout, and return flights from the US will also be included.
Starting in Paris and ending in Split, the trip will take the lucky travellers to some of the trendiest places in Europe, like Lake Bled and Krakow, and to less popular spots like the hiking trails of Grünau in Austria. The whole trip will finish off with a week of sailing along Croatia’s stunning coastlines.
To apply, pick your social media platform of choice, and create a 60-second video explaining why you should get the job. For those who are applying as a duo, trio or the full four-person team, can create a video together, but must each select a different platform. Submit the videos on the Busabout website before mid-April.
The company ran a similar contest last year, creating a role for a brand ambassador and video producer. Luckily, this year there are four roles, so try your hand at the ultimate summer travel job. Get the full details here.
