Spend the night in some of America’s most iconic locations across all fifty states

Forget searching for a traditional, regular hotel for your next trip in the United States, for a limited time, some of America’s most unique and iconic locations, including the Empire State Building in New York City and the American Airlines Arena in Downtown Miami are available to the public to book.

Created by the team at Booking.com in celebration of over one and a half million properties around the world, Book the U.S is a list comprised of specially curated properties across all fifty states, and includes caves, train cars, houseboats, treehouses, castles and yurts. The options range in price, and the properties are in diverse places that include countryside, mountain ranges and coasts.

Highlights include the 19th century Borden Flats Lighthouse in Somerset, Massachusetts, Kokopelli’s Cave in Farmington, New Mexico, an adult-friendly treehouse in Loudonville, Ohio and vintage trailers in Dayton, Oregon. “At Booking.com our mission is to empower people to experience the world and we continue to find new ways to do that” said Gillian Tans, CEO of Booking.com. “Our ‘Book the U.S.’ List aims to inspire travellers to go beyond the hotel and book a place they’ve only imagined staying at – or somewhere so epic they never thought possible.”

The list also includes three one-of-a-kind experiences, with the Empire State Building package allowing guests to have dinner on the open-air observation deck on the 86th floor of the iconic property as well as taking part in sunrise yoga overlooking the Manhattan skyline, while music fans have the chance to stay on Nick Jonas’ tour bus. The final package is tailored to sports fans, and offers guests the opportunity to sleep at the home of Miami Heat at the American Airlines Arena, with the stay including a VIP tour and access to an NBA game from the comfort of a couch. All three experiences are offered on a first come first served basis and are available to rent now. To celebrate, Booking.com is also running a competition in search of a Chief Booking Officer, with the lucky winner receiving a dream job and $50,000.
