Drone footage of the beautiful, expansive Norwegian  landscape is nothing new. But one photographer has taken it a step further and captured the moment a group of BASE jumpers leapt from the top of the Kjerag peak, over Lysefjord.

While BASE jumping is illegal in many countries the world – and almost always banned from buildings in the majority of cities – it’s legal to BASE jump from Kjerag, and it’s a very popular location for the activity because of this.

Lysefjord is also famous for the legendary Preikestolen  (Pulpit Rock), a 604-metre-high rock plateau affording  unparalleled views over the fjord.
