The disappearance of a lone female walker and a second near abduction have prompted warnings that a section of Spain’s Camino de Santiago  may not be safe to hike alone. The Camino is a long-distance hiking path that runs for hundreds of kilometres across the north of Spain and France. The affected section of the trail is a 24km stretch near Leόn, running between Astorga – where the missing female walker was last seen – and Rabanal del Camino.  Read more: theguardian.com
