Around 1830 people gathered in the Russian ski resort of Sheregesh on the weekend wearing only swimming costumes to break a Guinness world record. The skiers and boarders raced down a 500m slope in the so-called ‘bikini descent’, part of the Grelka Fest ski festival. In 2013 the current world record was set at the same resort with 500 people taking part in the event. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
