The city of Seoul has announced plans to turn an abandoned elevated highway into a public park. The ‘Seoul Skygarden’ will see the half-mile disused Seoul Station Overpass covered in trees, plants and public walkways similar to the Highline in New York City, which sits over an abandoned rail track. The Seoul Skygarden will also incorporate tea houses, cafes, markets and libraries. The project’s completion date has not yet been announced. Read more: businessinsider.com
