The markets will be located in strategic spots around Seoul and aim to showcase the unique aspects of their local areas. A food and drink market will be open in Hangang Park in the Yeouido district, while a fashion-oriented market will be held near Dongdaemun Design Plaza & Park. Another third market will be held during public holidays and on special occasions in Cheonggye Plaza and a ‘sports and leisure’ market will open at Mokdong Stadium. If the four markets are successful, the city aims to open up to ten more by 2018.
