Dramatic footage shows the moment a group of British tourists faced a 2000ft drop as they steered their van around a large overhang in Nepal.
The three-minute long clip films the group as they drive through the Manaslu Mountain. The cameraman offers a hilarious running commentary throughout the video, that shows some dramatic drops and a waterfall cascading from an overhang they’re going to have to pass under.
The footage begins as the van has come to a stop with one of the passengers, Rincou, going to investigate the overhang they’re going to have to pass under. The cameraman narrates:
“What do you reckon of that drop? Oh my god. Oh s***. So we’ve now got to a stage where the roof rack is going to get stuck under the overhang, so Rincou’s had to go ahead and scope out the height so we can get through with a van.”
He suggests to his friend (Rob) that they must be about 2000ft up to which his friend laughs and suggests that he stop leaning against the doors.
