The mini backlash against the shopping mayhem that is Black Friday continues.
The nonprofit Save the Redwoods League, based in San Francisco, is the latest company to help sponsor free entrance to state parks as an alternative to running round stores the day after Thanksgiving looking for bargains. An anonymous donor gave $50,000 which will allow 49 parks to open for free on Friday 27 November. Visitors just need to download a pass and take it with them. Read more: nbcbayarea.com
