The airline’s board has now given the green light to the new approach and The Irish Times reported that the Ryanair is considering flying between half a dozen cities in Europe and the US. This will take four to five years and will depend on Ryanair successfully buying long-haul aircraft.

Ryanair said that it was clear that European consumers demanded lower cost travel to the USA and conversely there would be a similar requirement from Americans going the other way.
