Owners of flats in Rome overlooking the street where a spectacular car chase will be filmed in March for the latest Bond movie have started selling tickets to watch the action. Some are hoping to rent out their whole flats for €1000 a day to ‘wealthy Russian tourists’, whilst others are selling tickets and inviting friends for big viewing parties. The 24th Bond film, starring Daniel Craig, will film in the Italian capital for four days starting on 7 March, and the filmmakers have paid hundreds of thousands of euros for major streets to be closed. After the chase scene, Bond will escape into secret tunnels and bunkers under Villa Torlonia, once Mussolini’s residence in the city. Read more: ansa.it
