An ice tunnel that’s being dug in Langjökull, Iceland’s second largest glacier, will be completed in a few weeks. The 400m-long circular tunnel will allow visitors the chance to experience a glacier from within. Its features include a natural crevasse over 200m long, ice sculptures and an ice chapel that will be available for weddings. The tunnel, 1260m above sea level in west Iceland, will be Europe’s longest ice tunnel, and will be open to the public from June. Read more: icelandreview.com
