Qatar hotels have been banned from serving alcohol in the lead up to this year’s Eid Al Adha. For the first time, restaurants won’t be allowed serve alcohol and hotel mini bars won’t be stocked in the ten days before the religious holiday. This period, Dhul Hijjah, is when Muslims travel to Mecca for the Hajj pilgrimage. Eid Al Adha is expected to fall on 23 September this year. Read more: arabianbusinessnews.com
