Eighteen northern bald ibises escaped from Prague Zoo on Tuesday after heavy snow damaged their aviary, and officials at the zoo have asked the public to help track them down.
By Friday morning, Prague Zoo’s official twitter account had confirmed that eight of the critically endangered birds had been returned, at least three of which flew back of their own accord. Locals have been tweeting sightings of the unusual escapees around the city with the hashtag #ibisdozoo. Read more: praguepost.com
