In a bid to boost security and reassure public in the Tokyo marathon, taking place on 22 February, some members of the police force will be called upon to run the marathon alongside the participants. Sixty-four ‘good runners’ will be selected, and will run the full length of the course. The ‘running police’ will reportedly wear special vests and don head cameras. Read more: japantimes.co.jp
