A Boeing 737 destined for Shannon in Ireland was forced to land in Berlin on Monday night after a drunk passenger made repeated assertions that there was a bomb on board. The flight from Kraków landed at Berlin’s Schönefeld airport at 11.45pm and passengers were evacuated until the aircraft was thoroughly searched. The flight resumed its journey at around 3.45am and a 33-year-old man is being held in connection with the incident. Read more: thelocal.de
