Police in Norway are continuing to question a group of students who are suspected of stealing three baby Humboldt penguins from an aquarium in Ålesund last week. The students, who had been taking part in the annual ‘Russ’ celebrations, were caught on CCTV breaking into the building and leaving with the chicks, which are unlikely to have survived without their mother. One girl who was involved has claimed that they ‘placed the birds in nature’ but will not reveal where.
