Some of the world’s fastest yachts will be arriving in Barbados this weekend to participate in the Mount Gay Round Barbados Race Series.

The event, a series of races scheduled from 16 January to 24 January, will, for the first time in its history see overseas multi-hull boats participating. The event kicks off with three days of coastal racing and will be followed by the Round Barbados Race on 21 January and the Ocean Passage to Antigua Race on 24 January. The series will also feature an “off the water” event for land lubbers, a polo match on January 20.
