On 1 June Nova Scotia will kick off a travel itinerary geared toward drinkers. The Good Cheer Trail will take travelers to the area’s best alcohol-related stops – five distilleries, seven breweries and brewpubs, and 14 wineries – a first for Nova Scotia, according to a tourism spokesperson. The itinerary will allow travelers to talk to the brewmasters and winemakers and learn about the processes involved in the locally produced concoctions. Heading from Yarmouth to Cape Breton, the trail also travels through some of Nova Scotia’s best countryside. Read more: novascotia.com
