Drivers flouting traffic regulations in Kinshasa, the capital of Democratic Republic of Congo, has long been a troubling issue. Today, however, there are three new chunky, arm-waving, chest rotating robots equipped with cameras and lights to watch over the roads. Improved versions of the two that were introduced in 2013, the three new solar-powered robots were created by the Congolese association of women engineers. The president of the group said that the new robots ‘react much more quickly.’ Read more: telegraph.co.uk
