A group of young Greek architects have developed a mobile phone app called City Tales, which allows users to take a guided tour of Athens focusing on the city’s architecture. The app recommends certain routes and provides information about the buildings, their features and history as well as a database of architectural elements worth seeking out. The Hellenic Institute of Architecture has also contributed to the project, which aims to promote the architectural legacy of Athens but also to reflect the current state of a metropolis in crisis.
