From this week you’ll be able to enter an airport terminal in the US and get on a plane in Mexico.

The new cross-border terminal is thanks to a quirk of geography and planning which means that Tijuana International Airport sits right on the US-Mexico border. The new terminal lies just to the north, in San Diego, and has an overpass that allows passengers to walk above the highly fortified border and catch a plane in Tijuana, where there are connections to around 30 Mexican destinations. The usual border checks will take place but are likely to be much quicker than the existing land crossings. Read more: abcnews.go.com
