The government of Malaysia has extradited the poacher Rajkumar Praja to his native Nepal, to face charges of killing 15 rhinos in Nepal’s Chitwan National Park. Said to be Nepal’s most prolific poacher, Praja is alleged to be responsible for deaths of three percent of Nepal’s surviving one-horned rhinoceroses, despite being just 31 years old. Praja went on the run in 2013, and no Nepali rhinos have been killed by poachers in the intervening years. Read more: thestar.com.my
