Muslim hipster loses Paris airport job for his beard

Two Muslim men claim they have been fired from Paris airport because of the length of their beards.

After the November terror attacks, a number of male Muslim staff were asked to trim their beards because passengers were on edge. The two that did not comply were sacked. One of the men said that his beard “was for fashion, in a hipster style… and not for religion.” A spokesperson for Securitas, who employed him, said he had been let go for serious breaches of company rules.
