Movie-fan to mimic Forrest Gump’s famous run across America

A man whose favourite movie is Forrest Gump plans to copy the famous run across the US as portrayed in the film. Barclay Oudersluys, a nuclear engineer and soon to be law student, will start the 3200-mile run this weekend at Santa Monica Pier and aims to reach his end point of Marshall Point Lighthouse in Maine in 100 days.
