Mother charged after son falls into cheetah enclosure at Cleveland zoo

A 38-year-old Ohio woman has been charged with child endangerment after her two-year-old son fell into the cheetah exhibit at Cleveland Metropark Zoo. According to witnesses the woman dangled the child over the rail of the enclosure where he dropped some ten feet into the exhibit sustaining leg injuries. Both parents quickly retrieved the child. The viewing deck at the zoo has been temporarily closed while investigations take place. A spokesman for the zoo said it is ‘committed to the safety our visitors, employees, animal collection and volunteers.’ Read more: cnn.com
