Man just inches from death in Yellowstone National Park

A 71-year-old visitor to Yellowstone National Park is lucky to be alive after falling while trying to take a photo. The New Yorker stepped backwards off a ledge and fell around 25ft, stopping just short of a much longer, 200ft drop into a canyon which would have killed him. Rangers immediately began a rescue attempt as the man lodged himself against rocks to avoid falling further and he was successfully brought to the surface. Read more: travelpulse.com
