Malbork hosts Medieval Combat World Championships

Poland’s Malbork Castle is set to become a battleground for the next four days as modern-day Knights ready themselves for war in the 2nd Medieval Combat World Championships. Around 500 male and female knights from 25 countries will take part in duels and group events involving sword and shield and competitors will be awarded points for accurate blows on their opponents.
