More details are coming forth concerning the new direct Lufthansa flight service from Frankfurt, Germany to Panama City, Panama, scheduled to begin 2 March, 2016.

The flight will be offered year-round and will connect the two cities five times a week. The airline has also taken steps to facilitate the connections between Europe and Central and South America by completing a codeshare agreement with Copa Airlines. Current Copa flights from Panama City to Miami, Florida will connect with Lufthansa, and new connecting services will soon be available from David, Panama, Guayaquil and Quito, Ecuador, and San Jose, Costa Rica.
