German airline Lufthansa has announced that it will cancel its 60th anniversary celebrations as a mark of respect to the victims of the Germanwings air crash. The company was due to hold celebrations on 15 April, but instead will take part in a national day of mourning at Cologne Cathedral on 17 April. Germanwings flight 4U 9525 crashed in the French Alps last week, killing all 150 people on board. Investigators believe the plane’s pilot crashed the plane deliberately. Read more: thelocal.de
