Starting next month, travellers who want to see Thailand’s beautiful nature from above will be able to take a stroll down the country’s longest treetop walkway.
Located in the Chiang Mai province, the new canopy walkway will open at the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden.
The walkway is 400 metres long and 20 metres high, reports the Bangkok Post, and part of the walkway will have a glass floor.
The botanical gardens consist of 227 hectares of plantations, natural trails and greenhouses filled with exotic and local plants. There is also an orchid collection, with more than 400 different species, and a glasshouse complex located near the mountain peak.
