Train travellers are facing another morning of disruption to services through the UK’s busiest interchange station at Clapham Junction in London.
Some services run by the Southern train company have been cancelled today while others are delayed.
This follows yesterday’s travel chaos when a power supply problem in the Clapham area led to some passengers being stuck on trains for up to five hours.
The Gatwick Express which had to be suspended yesterday was operating normally today.
Yesterday’s problem involved damage to the conductor rail which led to damage to some trains.
No Southern services were able to run in or out of London’s Victoria station for much of the day. Services did resume in time for the evening rush hour but there were delays.
